Bayern Munich lift the Bundesliga trophy after win over Augsburg

Bayern M. recorded the 28th win of its extraordinary Bundesliga season with a 3-0 victory over Bavarian rivals Augsburg. Thomas Muller got the first goal of a slow, end of season encounter, heading home with just over 20 minutes to play and Xherdan Shaqiri made the points safe soon after before Luiz Gustavo added insult to injury just before fulltime. The first half was a drab affair. While Augsburg perhaps went into the clash expecting nothing, Bayern had a fairly slack attitude, with their title long since wrapped up and two finals on the horizon.
